Felix Felicis, also known as Liquid Luck is almost banned from everywhere in wizarding world. It needs many ingredients to brew and it requires very high knowledge of alchemy.
This potion is highly dangerous, even fatal on high doses but when it brewed correctly gives luck to drinker. Even the most ordinary day can be extraordinary with the help of the potion. This potion also used by many characters in Hogwarts history.
Felix Felicis needs six months to brew, it was produced by Zygmunt Budge for the first time. Budge describes the potion as his best work in his life.
In 1996, Professor Slughorn gifted a bottle of Felix Felicis potion when he succeed to produce Living Death potion. Harry Potter wanted to use Felix Felicis potion before Ron Weasley’s Quidditch match by mixing it with Weasley’s pumpkin juice but he didn’t do that. Instead of using the potion for real, he said Ron he used it. Ron’s performance on the game was spectacular. After the game Potter confessed to Ron, he didn’t mix it and he just played without any help so Ron overcome his issues about self-confidence.
