The Time-Turner is a magical device which produced by Ministry of Magic, Department of Mysteries. This device contains a hourglass an hourglass on necklace, and allows wearer to travel back in time. When wearer spins hourglass, it rewinds back the time up to 5 hours. It is conceivable to use for go further but it’s extremely dangerous after five hours.
At early times of the device, it was only allowing backing five minutes in time. After intense work of Department of Mysteries on Time-Turner it is extortionately improved. By 2020, the most improved and latest Time-Turner devices are born. Those improved devices allows wearers to stay in past as long as they want and return to present whenever they want.
Time-Turner seen in the series for the first time in 1993. Professor McGonagall gave a Time-Turner device as a gift to Hermione, to make possible to attend more classes with traveling back in time. With special permission of Ministry of Magic which only Hermione granted in Hogwarts, Hermione wear the device for a long time, used for different purposes and kept it as a secret.
